THE PUB is the BEST PUB in Chiang Mai.

Grahame & Tong run this excellent pub & restaurant in Chiang Mai. Every month they publish the Pub Gazette for their patrons & guests. Here is the Pub Gazette for October 2008.

Greetings everyone.

October sees all our regular events happening as normal. The Gentleman’s Lunch is the first Monday, which this month is the 6th. Wednesday is our Prize Draw with the pot at the moment standing at Baht 2,600.  Friday is the Quiz Night with as many as 7 or 8 teams of 4 chasing the honour of knocking the Baggies off the top spot.  Saturday is the all-you-can-eat Bar-B-Q for 200 baht. Sunday is the Sunday Roast. I apologise to those of you who missed out last week because we had run out of lamb and beef.  I will ensure we have enough for next week. Of course to avoid disappointment you can always book in advance.

With the installation of WE TV we can now show 2 different sporting events at the same time and with a bit of luck we will have the South African channel back in again so we will be able to show 3 events simultaneously. As always there we be a schedule of live broadcasts on the notice board in the bar.

This month is THE PUB’s 39th birthday.  We will be celebrating the event on Wednesday the 29th October.  Everyone welcome.  It will be a great celebration & yours truly will be there!

Do you have any friends or relatives that are coming to town this month? We are running a special promotion for our bungalows. 500 baht per night (too good to be true I know). Anyone who hasn’t seen the bungalows is more than welcome to come and have a look see.
