Padang Besar to Hat Yai
Dennis set off as planned on 11th February, from Padang Besar.
These are some of the sights along the route east to Sadao and then north through Khlong Ngae to Hat Yai.
Total distance 57 km.

First down to the Immigration office to
get the passport stamped.

This Chinese Buddhist temple is about 5km from Padang Besar.

Set right in the rubber plantations this little temple is a spiritual and social centre for the rubber workers.

There is not much industry in Hat Yai, but this is one of the biggest. The Haad Thip Coca Cola factory 4 km south of Hat Yai.
